We strive to ensure that our products are accurately described on our website. However, as we rely on our suppliers for product information, there may occasionally be slight variations in colours. Please note that colours may also differ from screen to screen, and this is not considered a fault or error.
To the extent permitted by law, we do not warrant that the product descriptions, colours, information, or other content available on our website are accurate, complete, reliable, current, or error-free. We always aim to provide the highest standard of quality to the best of our knowledge and will never knowingly send an inferior product if we are aware of any issues.
YOUR ORDER
After you have placed an order with us, we will send you an email confirming receipt of your order. Should a product be unavailable, we will contact you via email to confirm and discuss your options. Once the order has been sent, the contract between you and Linen & Poppies is complete. The sale is therefore concluded in NSW.
If delivery of an order will result in unacceptably high freight charges Linen & Poppies, we reserve the right to contact you to request further shipping fees or to cancel your order prior to despatch. If we cancel the order, a full refund will be provided to the customer.
We reserve the right not to accept your order in the event that we are unable to obtain authorisation for payment, where we suspect fraudulent activity. We reserve the right to refuse to process or refuse service to anyone at any time at our sole discretion.
PRICES, PAYMENT AND GST
All our prices on our website are in Australian dollars and include GST. All payments are processed in Australian dollars. We accept payment using most credit cards or PayPal.
PAYMENT SECURITY
We use industry-standard encryption to keep your personal information secure throughout the payment process. We do not store your credit card or bank information. We will not be liable for any damages or losses (direct or indirect) caused if a member’s card is used fraudulently.
SHIPPING AND DELIVERY
We will only deliver products ordered through our Website in Australia to a location where we provide delivery services.
Dispatch times may vary according to availability and any guarantees as to delivery times are limited to Australia Post and subject to any delays resulting from postal delays for which we will not be responsible.
Delivery Charges
We strive to keep our delivery charges simple and transparent:

Standard Shipping: A flat rate of $12.00 will be added to each purchase for standard delivery.

Heavy or Large Items: For items such as home décor or other heavier products, we may contact you with a quote for additional postage charges based on the weight and size of your order.

Express Shipping: If you need your order sooner, we offer Express Post for an additional fee, which is determined by Australia Post.

Insured Shipping: For added peace of mind, we also offer Insured Postage at an extra cost, calculated by Australia Post.

We cannot deliver to PO boxes or Parcel lockers
If you make changes to your delivery address after placing an order, an additional charge may apply. If the address provided is incorrect and the package is returned, you will be billed for the additional shipping charges in order for the delivery to reach you. We also offer express or registered mail options, for an extra charge. There are no deliveries on weekends.

RETURNS
Although we hope you love all your items from our Linen & Poppies online store, we have a returns policy in place if you are not 100% happy with your purchase.

To make a return:

Return request must be made within 14 days of receiving your order

Items must be unused, or unworn

Items must still be in their original packaging with all tags attached

Return shipping costs are the customer’s responsibility.

We cannot accept postal returns of ceramics due to the fragile nature of those products.

Any items that have been washed, dry cleaned, worn, or altered cannot be returned. If this occurs, refunds or exchange will be voided.
To return a product, send the product back to us via Australia Post (address would be provided through email) along with proof of purchase and your details. We will send a confirmation email once we have received your returned item(s). Customers are responsible for all return shipping costs.

Allow 5-10 business days for your return to reach our warehouse. If approved, your refund will be processed as soon as possible, and we will notify you by email. Please allow up to 2 weeks for processing and funds to reach your account.
GIFT CARDS
Gift cards can be purchased and used within a 36 month period from the date of issue. Gift cards are not transferrable and cannot
be returned for a part or full money value. Linen & Poppies take no responsibility for lost or damaged gift cards, stolen or gift cards used without permission. Gift cards will not be replaced if stolen.
VIRUSES AND HACKING OF WEBSITE
You must not misuse our website by knowingly introducing viruses, trojans or other material which is malicious or technologically harmful. You must not try to get unauthorised access to our website or server on which our Website is stored or any server, computer or database connected to our website. Whilst we will do our best to ensure a virus-free website, you acknowledge that the internet and e-commerce facilities may attract unknown contingencies out of our control. We will not be liable for any loss or damage caused by a virus, system failures or other technologically harmful material that may infect your computer equipment, computer programs, data or other proprietary material due to your use of our website or to your downloading of any material posted on it. We always recommend all internet users ensure they have up-to-date virus checking software installed.

FACEBOOK/BLOG/INSTAGRAM AND OTHER SOCIAL MEDIA
The purpose of Linen & Poppies social media posts is to inspire and inform our customers and the general public of our products and new additions. You are encouraged to comment however, any offensive, abusive, threatening, hateful, profane or defamatory comments will be deleted and the author blocked. If we have provided an error in any posts, you are welcome to contact us so we can rectify it. None of our products can be used for promotional purposes without our consent.
Any comments need to be truthful and helpful. We reserve the right to investigate and verify the validity of any reviews submitted to us.
We reserve the right to not publish or remove any ratings and reviews that we consider not to be genuine or misleading or violate our moderation policies in any way. There is to be no spam, advertising, mention of any other competitor’s products, no misleading, private information or contact details.
FORCE MAJEURE
We shall not be responsible for any delay, suspension or failure arising out of any circumstances outside of our reasonable control, including but not limited to acts of God, governmental actions, shipping, postal or other relevant transport strike, postal theft, failure or accident, lockouts or other labour difficulty, war or national emergency, acts of terrorism, fire, explosion, flood, an act or omission of a third party, inability to obtain any necessary materials, equipment, facilities or services, the failure of performance provided by others, interruption of the internet or a website (such as Facebook) or virus, accidents or breakdown of plant, machinery, software, hardware or communication network.
DIRECT IMPORTED GOODS
Please be aware that our products will be imported from Europe. The prices therefore to the customer will be dictated by what we are charged by our suppliers plus all import duties. In Australia, we also have to charge GST. There will be no negotiation on products. We will, however have seasonal sales.
APPLICABLE LAW
These terms and conditions including our Privacy Policy are governed by the laws of NSW, Australia and are subject to non-exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of NSW. Our website is available only to people who can form legally binding contracts under applicable law.
